As we began taking Boomer out into the neighborhood he instantly grew into a very popular dog. On our first walks in December the leaves would still blow across the street and Boomer would chase every single one of them. He would see a squirrel in somebody’s yard and crouch down, ready for the chase.
Our neighbors would see him and come out to say hello and meet him. He was such a good looking dog and gave love to anybody he met. Over time he learned which houses had dogs and would always look for that opportunity to bust into an open door of their house and sprint over to their dog bowl and help himself.
And of course, when we brought Boomer into Matthew’s classroom he was a huge, huge hit.
